Easy Halloween Entry Table Decor Ideas
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #1: Bats
If you’re on Pinterest, you probably already know what I’m talking about π.
Bats are such a fun and cute way to decorate your entryway for Halloween! By this I mean, getting a bunch of small paper bats and sticking them to your entryway wall or mirror to create a cool pattern. As if bats were flying around in your house (as pictured below)!
You can even get multiple sizes (small bats and large bats) and create a unique pattern. They have them at stores like Amazon (linked in my storefront) or you could even DIY this and turn it into a fun little project.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #2: Webs
Another popular idea on Pinterest and super easy to recreate! SPIDER WEBS.
Similar to the bats above, you have your own creative freedom with this one. Drap your spider webs on your entryway console table, mirror, or wall to add that little extra spookiness for the season!
You can get spider webs from your local Halloween store and of course, Amazon (linked here). Super cheap, super easy, and gets your space festive for the season. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #3: Pumpkins
This one might be obvious, but I HAD to include it. Pumpkins are the literal definition of fall and Halloween.
There are endless possibilities with this one. You can have real pumpkins, fake pumpkins, large pumpkins, small pumpkins, or a mix of everything. My absolute favorite is using mini pumpkins as vase filler. And your pumpkins don’t have to look like pumpkins, meaning they can be made out of other textured materials!
The below picture is what I have in my kitchen however, this would look super cute on an entryway table too. Just festive enough without being too over-the-top Halloween (if that’s the style you’re going for).
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #4: Candles
Something about candles, especially the right ones, that give off major spooky vibes.
A great way to decorate isn’t always something visual and incorporating your other senses is super important! And there’s nothing better than fall-scented candles. I just feel like there are so many good ones (especially in comparison to other seasons).
You can find a bunch of cute candles at stores like HomeGoods. If you follow my TikTok, you already know my love for HG. They have some festive ones that can double as decor as well!
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #5: Candlestick Holders
If candles aren’t your thing, you can honestly just decorate with candlestick holders (and it’s just as effective)!!
There’s definitely something eerie about candlestick holders, idk maybe it’s just me lol. A cute idea would also be to get some candlesticks, melt them so they have that dripping effect, and place them on your holders. A cool decor piece without actually having to use the candles/light them every day.
Additionally, there are some unique, Halloween-specific candlestick holders that could be used as well, aside from just plain black or brass ones.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #6: Candy
You can’t have Halloween without CANDY.
Having candy on your entry table is IDEAL, especially for Halloween night if you’re planning on handing out candy. Or just a great treat for people entering/exiting your home. We love decor that is practical and this is just that!!
Super easy and cheap! Run to your local grocery store, grab a big bag of candy, put it in a cute decorative bowl, and BOOM, you’re done.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #7: Festive Prints
If you’re not new here, you know seasonal prints are my #1 hack when it comes to simple and affordable decorating.
It’s super easy to find prints on Pinterest, but if you can’t find any good ones, I have a board on my account linked here. If you’re looking for higher-quality ones, Etsy is a great place to find some. Easily print your prints, frame them, and display them on your entryway table. They also look amazing layered with personal photos or artwork!
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #8: Skulls
If you’re going for a more dark, spooky feel, decorating with skulls might be the move.
Skulls can be used in combination with several of the ideas above. For example, mini skulls can be used as vase filler and there are skull-shaped candles. You don’t need to actually have a full-on skeleton in your entryway (unless that is your vibe π), but it is a festive way to get a little extra spooky π».
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #9: Branches
This one might not be obviously Halloween-y, but it’s a great option if you’re into the more subtle look.
You can see my example below, but having a vase with large branches adds a Halloween feel without screaming Halloween. Great if you have tall ceilings or a large entryway, but still want a simplistic, minimalist look.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #10: Fall-Colored Florals
Similar to the branches, if you don’t want your apartment or home screaming Halloween, this could be a great option for you. Get festive, but without being too over the top!
When I think of fall, I think of dried florals or dark, gloomy-colored plants (like a dark purple eucalyptus ooh π). Now the great thing about dried florals is that they require no maintenance, which I LOVE. I am not a plant girl (I wish I was, but I just can’t keep them alive), so dried florals or faux plants are my things.
Highly recommend as a fall statement piece on your entryway table.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #11: Dark Coffee Table Books
This is an idea where you could possibly spend $0!! Simply repurpose some of the decors you already have in your home.
My favorite way to style any sort of console table is with coffee table books. They take up just the right amount of space and can be used to add various heights. I think stacking two is perfect for that minimalistic look, and if you have some with darker covers, it would be perfect for Halloween!
However, if you do want to purchase some darker colored options for the season, here are a few GORG options from Pottery Barn (if you’re feeling like splurging). For my besties on a budget, I also have a bunch linked in my Amazon storefront here.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #12: Vintage Art
I didn’t think about this idea until I saw it on Pinterest a few times and FELL IN LOVE. It’s literally genius.
For me, vintage art has an eerie vibe to it, especially certain ones. For example, the one pictured below just gives me subtle spooky vibes without being too Halloween-ish.
Small vintage art like this can be thirfted at either your local Goodwill or on Facebook Marketplace. Propped up on your entryway table and layered with some fall/Halloween framed prints would be *chef’s kiss*.
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #13: Crows
I am not a huge fan of animal decor (lol), but I thought I’d throw this one in because it can be done tastefully and can actually look really cool if it fits your vibe.
Crows definitely give Halloween and the way it’s done below is the definition of tasteful Halloween decor. Enough said.
Linked some crow options on my storefront if you want to try and recreate this look!
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #14: Spiders
On the topic of animals, we can’t forget spiders!! This idea would pair super nicely with Idea #2 above, webs.
Small, tiny plastic spiders were my childhood. I loved placing them in the faux webs when decorating my house. So fun and adds that little extra Halloween flavor to your decor.
Some might say this is tacky, but I don’t care – I still love it and a little tacky is always good for the soul. They’re super cheap and an easy way to decorate any entryway!! Linked some bulk packs in my storefront!
Halloween Entry Table Decor Idea #15: Festive Catch-all Bowls
What decor idea list would be complete without a catch-all bowl?! None, because you always need a catch-all bowl. And having a festive one on your entryway table could be just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit.
This idea can easily be paired with so many of our ideas above. You can use the catch-all bowl for candy or vase filler (i.e. mini pumpkins), etc. I think Pottery Barn has the CUTEST catch-all bowls for Halloween, I’m obsessed with them and I’ve linked my favs below.
