Are you in the process of decorating your first apartment or just trying to spice up your current decor style? Then you need to check out these 11 cheap decor stores that I’m sure you didn’t know existed!
Home decor and furniture can definitely add up. I’ve seen such cute inspiration all over social media that makes me want to go all-in and decorate my entire apartment. But doing that, especially all at once, will result in a credit card bill that I DO NOT want to encounter.
This made me think that there’s got to be more affordable places to shop to get a similar look for wayyy less. That’s when I took a deep dive into the internet to compile this list of 11 cheap decor stores you can shop from now.
All of these stores are online, therefore you can order from the comfort of your own bed. Furthermore, they all have reasonable prices for decor, not necessarily furniture (as this post isn’t furniture related). When I say “cheap”, I simply mean they have aesthetic decor items for under $100. Because if you love home decor and furniture like me, you know a vase nowadays can easily go for upwards of $100. I love a good budget-friendly moment however, I don’t want it to look super low-quality and I still want the items to match my style.
With each store, I’ve included a few of my favorite finds from there as well! So let’s get into it!
This post is all about cheap decor stores that you need to bookmark now.

The Best Cheap Decor Stores
Cheap Decor Stores #1: Target
Target is my GO-TO when it comes to affordable decor (and even furniture sometimes). You’d be surprised at the number of cute items they have there.
I specifically gravitate towards the Threshold designed with Studio Mcgee line at Target as I love that style. I would say it’s definitely on the transitional side of interior design. But with that being said, I think their pieces would work really well and blend seamlessly with any interior design style. Which is why I love this line!!
Target decor is super simplistic and on the minimalist side, which is why there are endless opportunities when it comes to styling and decorating your apartment.
A few other lines at Target that I love are:
- Hearth & Hand with Magnolia – Definitely on the modern farmhouse side of interior design, but love their basics and little decor pieces!
- Project 62 – All the basics for a clean, modern home. Truly everything you need to decorate your first apartment on a budget. They also have really good simple furniture items.
- Opalhouse – Definitely too bohemian and eclectic for my taste, BUT some of their items are super unique, especially for Target! If styled correctly, they can totally add so much character to any space.
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #2: Kirkland’s
Kirkland’s is one of those places that your either know of or initially think it’s Costco 😂. This is definitely an underrated cheap decor store.
They have tons of decor options ranging from vases to throw pillows. They have a more rustic farmhouse vibe altogether however, some of their individual pieces can be added to a modern or traditional home to really elevate it and add depth.
Kirkland’s also has sales quite often. They actually have one going on right now where everything is up 70% off!! No code is needed and free shipping on all orders over $49. So good if you’re moving into your first apartment or wanting to spice up your current decor.

Cheap Decor Stores #3: At Home
Another underrated online decor store is At Home. Their prices are UNBEATABLE.
The decor they do have is somewhat on the more basic, simplistic side, but that’s what makes it so good. Essential pieces such as vases and decorative bowls can be found here. I’ve seen similar items on high-end, designer decor sites for ten times the price!
These items can be used throughout your apartment and will truly go with any interior design style!

Cheap Decor Stores #4: HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls
If you follow me on TikTok, you know my favorite hobby is going to HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. In my head, it reminds me of thrifting (another thing I love to do just can’t do very often)! It’s so fun finding cool and unique decor and furniture pieces at these stores.
But what most people don’t know is that they do have pretty solid inventory on their online websites. And even though all three of these stores are owned by the same parent company, they have different items on each of their sites.
Sometimes sifting through their online sites can be a pain, which is why I often check and link all my favorite finds on this blog. Think of this as a curated page of TJ Maxx finds that I would purchase based on my interior design style!!

Cheap Decor Stores #5: World Market
This is one of the more popular affordable home decor stores out there, but I thought I’d include it just in case some of y’all have never heard of it before! World Market has some of the cutest decor and furniture all at super reasonable prices.
Their style definitely leans more towards bohemian, but depending on what you’re looking for and how you end up styling things, you can find decor and furniture that will work with any design style.
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #6: H&M Home
This one is a shocker for sure. Did you know H&M had a home line?! And that it was actually FILLED with good stuff?! I didn’t for the longest time.
I’m so glad I found it though because their stuff is so cute and so affordable! I would say they definitely have an organic modern feel to their decor pieces. Super unique stuff that would totally complete the look of any room.
Similar to TJ Maxx, I have a whole page dedicated to my favorite H&M Home finds – check that out below!!

Cheap Decor Stores #7: Zara Home
Super similar to H&M Home, did y’all know Zara had a home section as well?! Another place you wouldn’t think to look for sure!
Their decor is on the more modern side of interior design however, I think all their pieces would work so well in any apartment style. You’re going to have people asking where you got your decor from, and they’re going to be shocked when you say, Zara!
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #8: Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is one of those stores that can do it all! Again, similar to H&M and Zara, most think of clothes when they think of these retailers. However, UO does have a fairly strong presence in the home decor and furniture space.
I would say their style is a mix of mid-century modern, post-modern/art deco, bohemian, and eclectic. They have all things from candles to rugs to throw pillows.
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #9: Goodies LA
This one is a hidden gem that not everyone knows about, but it did get pretty popular over social media within the last year. This decor shop has tons of goodies (lol) all under $25!! I repeat, not a single item within their store is over $25!!
Their stuff is SO aesthetic and at that price point, hard to beat. I specifically love their cutting boards and decorative trays/bowls. They are also super high-quality even at these low low prices.
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #10: All Modern
If you’re into the modern, eclectic, even post-modern look, this might be the place for you! All Modern is slightly on the more expensive side (at least in comparison to all the other places listed above), but it just might be worth it!!
Their decor (and furniture) pieces are so cool and unique, they’re definitely ideal for the trendy Pinterest gal.
Some of my favorite decor items at the moment:
Cheap Decor Stores #11: CB2
CB2, like All Modern, is slightly on the more expensive side compared to all the other stores mentioned above. Especially when it comes to furniture, CB2 is NOT cheap. But you’d honestly be surprised at some of the prices on their decor pieces.
I’ve found some super high-quality items for under $50. I’m not saying this is super cheap, but if CB2 has the specific item or “look” that you’re going for, it might just be worth it! Whenever you’re shopping, I always say each person is different and although it may be not worth it to some, the quality and design of the item might be worth it to others.
I just wanted to throw in this store as an option as I was truly surprised at some of their decor pricing (and similar items with the same look can retail on designer websites for over $1K).
